Instead of the typical call to action, we glued hundreds of business cards onto these transit shelter ads. Each card had the personal telephone number and email address of different graduates, allowing prospective students to contact the grads directly and ask about their personal Royal Roads experiences.
We even glued real business cards inside the elevator for prospective students to take.
This ad appeared in the annual University Rankings issue of Maclean's Magazine.
This microsite used LinkedIn's API to pull snapshots of our alumni's profiles. Visitors were able to filter the alumni by their graduating programs and see how Royal Roads helped them achieve their current employment. Those interested in learning more about specific grads could email or LinkedIn connect with them from the site. Over 200 alumni volunteered to connect with prospective students through the site.
